Classified Diving

We do believe that the ocean is for everyone. That is why we are incredibly excited to offer the SSI Classified Diving program, specifically designed to provide adaptive training for individuals with limited mobility or sensory disorders.

Through this very special program, and always with medical clearance, anyone can experience the incredible thrill of breathing underwater and feeling completely free. We will start first in a confined water environment, taking it little by little, and when you feel completely ready, we will take the leap into the open water together.

We know that every student is unique, which is why this course is 100% focused on you. As specialized instructors, we adapt the Open Water Diver program and training materials to meet your specific needs. Although we will complete the required evaluations, we are totally flexible: we can adjust specific techniques based on your abilities, and of course, you are allowed our full physical assistance to perform the skills. Upon completion, you will be able to dive safely accompanied by a Classified Dive Buddy or a certified professional.

Furthermore, if you are already a Stress & Rescue diver or higher, we also offer the Classified Dive Buddy certification, which trains you to safely accompany these amazing divers underwater.
