The story behind Blue Dreams Diving: Welcome to our dive family
We are a small, family-run dive center in Bayahibe, Dominican Republic. We specialize in creating unforgettable underwater experiences and certification courses for you, always at your own pace. Our greatest joy is showing you the incredible beauty hidden in our little piece of the Caribbean Sea, while always working together to promote respect and marine conservation.
We are deeply committed to taking care of 'our home,' which is why we are an active part of the SSI Blue Oceans movement. We don't just promote conservation underwater; we also organize regular beach clean-ups to give back a little bit of everything the ocean gives us. Taking care of the ocean is a family effort!
Hi! I'm Alberto 🌊
I started diving in 1997, and ever since, being underwater has been my way of life. Although I'm Spanish by birth, my heart and my second home are right here, in the waters of the Dominican Republic.
I am an SSI Divemaster Instructor with 24 specialties. For me, diving isn't just about gearing up and jumping into the blue; it's about passing on that same passion to you and showing you all the secrets our reef has to hide. I love making every dive an adventure where we learn and marvel together in complete safety.
I firmly believe that the ocean is for everyone, with no exceptions. That is why I am a Classified Diving Instructor, which allows me to adapt scuba instruction for people with disabilities. Underwater, there are no barriers!

I'm Spanish, although I've been incredibly lucky to live in several countries. Getting to know so many different cultures has taught me so much and, ultimately, brought me to my favorite corner of the planet: the beautiful Dominican Republic.
For me, diving isn't just about going underwater; it's a way of understanding life, of continuous learning, and of being amazed on every single dive. As an SSI Divemaster Instructor (with 18 specialties), my greatest joy is sharing this knowledge with you.
In the water, I consider myself a very patient, calm, and empathetic person. My absolute priority is your safety and making sure you enjoy every second of the adventure completely stress-free. Also, because I truly believe from the bottom of my heart that the ocean is for everyone, I am a Classified Diving Instructor, adapting scuba instruction for people with disabilities. In the sea, there are no barriers!
